About Us

The initiation of this group was born from the fact that there are a significant number and diverse array of University of Chicago alumni that serve the life-science and healthcare industries, and that there was a need for a group to bring these individuals together to network, collaborate and share ideas. The overall mission of the group is to:

• Serve alumni in the healthcare, hospital, insurance industry and in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device industry.
• Reconnect alumni through social networking, speaker events and workshop.
• Share novel ideas, career development opportunities and build awareness of challenges and issues facing industries.
• Include alumni and industry talent in the fields of business, law, medicine and public policy.

Given this mission, programming will be topic-oriented and focused on professional subject matters pertinent to the HCBP industries; will encompass the views and perspectives of the relevant disciplines; and will take the form of faculty, alumni and industry presentations, panel discussions, and interactive mixers.
