Reunion FAQs

Reconnect is a new alumni occasion that combines three great events into one special weekend. The weekend will occur every spring and is a great time to catch up with former classmates, listen to renowned faculty present their latest research, and take advantage of all that Chicago has to offer. It is a weekend full of activities including class dinners, Management Conference, the annual Alumni Celebration, campus tours, and more.

All Chicago Booth alumni and their guests are invited to attend RECONNECT. Many of the activities are family friendly as well.

Yes! All Chicago Booth alumni are invited to attend RECONNECT. Even if you aren’t celebrating a reunion, you will find many great activities open to all alumni where you can meet new friends or reconnect with old ones.

Business casual attire is appropriate for most events. For events such as the Cubs game and Mayfest, casual attire is appropriate.

Yes, we strongly encourage you to register in advance for this event. This event does have a reservation deadline and could sell out. If space is available, registration will be available on-site for the specific events.

Please let us know about any special needs (such as dietary requirements or handicap accessibility) when you register; you may also call Alumni Affairs and Development at 773.702.7731 for your needs. Cancellations must be received by May 8, 2013, to receive a full refund. To cancel, please email alumni@ChicagoBooth.edu or call 773.702.7731.

Yes, we have reserved room blocks at several hotels downtown. Please check the travel page for more details and rates. We suggest booking your hotel early as they always fill up quickly!

Yes, we will have shuttles running throughout the weekend to help get you to the different locations. Details will be posted on the travel page closer to the event.

Your outright gift or multiyear pledge received between July 1, 2012-June 30, 2013 will count towards your Reunion Class Gift. If you make a multi-year pledge, you (and the class) will be recognized for the entire commitment.

Your Reunion gift counts as your annual contribution to the school. We may also ask you to continue to support the Annual Fund in non-reunion years.
