What is Reunion weekend?
Reunion weekend occurs every fall and is a great time to catch up with former classmates, listen to renowned faculty present their latest research, and take advantage of all that Chicago has to offer. It is a weekend full of activities including class dinners, back-to-the-classroom sessions, the annual Alumni Celebration, campus tours, and more.
All Chicago Booth alumni and their guests are invited back to campus for Reunion. This year, the classes of 2011, 2007, 2002, 1997, and 1992 will have class dinners to celebrate their landmark reunions.
I'm not celebrating a reunion. Can I still attend?
Yes! All Chicago Booth alumni are invited to Reunion weekend.
Who will lead the back-to-the-classroom sessions?
Professors Pradeep K. Chintagunta, James E. Schrager, and Luigi Zingales will lead classroom sessions on Friday, October 5. More information about these sessions will be made available on the weekend schedule page.
Do I need to register?
We strongly encourage that you register. Some events have reservation deadlines and others will sell out. Discounts are available for travel and hotels, but in limited numbers.
What should I wear?
During the day, attire is casual. For the Alumni Celebration dinner on Friday night, black tie is preferred. For the class dinners on Saturday, wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.
Where will Reunion take place?
Friday events take place at Gleacher Center and other downtown venues, while Saturday events are scheduled both on the Hyde Park campus and downtown. Please check the schedule for event-specific details.
What if I have special needs?
Please let us know about any special needs (such as dietary requirements or handicap accessibility) when you register; you may also call Alumni Affairs and Development at 773.702.7731 for your needs. We will do our best to accommodate requests made at least one week prior to Reunion Weekend. If you have any questions or concerns, please email reunions@ChicagoBooth.edu.
Can I bring my family and friends?
Yes! Many family friendly events are planned throughout the weekend. These events are marked with an asterisk in the weekend schedule.
May I cancel my registration?
Yes, refunds will be honored until September 26, 2012. Please check your Reunion event email confirmation to cancel your registrations.
What is the date of reunion activities in 2013?
Reunion activities for 2013 will take place May 17 -18.
What counts as a contribution to the Reunion Class Gift campaign?
Your outright gift or multiyear pledge received between January 1 - December 31, 2012, will count towards your Reunion Class Gift. If you make a multiyear pledge, you (and the class) will be recognized for the entire commitment.
Will I be asked to give another gift this year in addition to my Reunion gift?
Your Reunion gift counts as your annual contribution to the school. We may also ask you to continue to support the Annual Fund in nonreunion years.
Who is invited to the Reunion Dean’s Society Donor Reception?
We invite all of our Dean’s Society donors to join us for a special reception over Reunion weekend. The Reunion Dean’s Society donor reception recognizes alumni who commit to giving $1,000 or more. For the class of 2011, donors who give $500 or more will also be invited to the Reunion Dean's Society donor reception.

Does my Reunion gift really make a difference?
Yes! Our Reunion Class Gift supports the school's top priorities and helps close the gap between tuition and the total cost of educating a student. Every dollar makes a difference for current students. Furthermore, as alumni, our collective support helps Chicago Booth to retain the best faculty, attract the brightest students, and expand its global impact.
