Denver Business Series Legal Cafe Breakfast: The Affordable Care Act for Employers

The Denver Business Series is proud to present a new breakfast speaker series, The Legal Café. These events will be informative presentations on specific legal topics by Denver attorneys for company executives. Each breakfast will start with a half hour of networking from 7:30 - 8:00 a.m and then the presentation will run from 8:00 - 8:50 a.m.
This month, the Legal Cafe will discuss The Affordable Care Act for Employers. Presenting will be Shira McKinlay of Kutak Rock LLP.This presentation will discuss what employers need to know in order to make sure they are complying with the Affordable Care Act. Although the Employer Shared Responsibility provisions have been delayed, new deadlines are quickly approaching, and many other provisions of the Act are currently in effect. Increased enforcement and significant penalties require that employers stay up to date on this important law.
$10/person and a light continental breakfast, coffee and juice will be served.
