Event Details

The Works is a hands-on museum that makes learning about engineering, science and technology interesting, understandable and fun. The whole family will enjoy exploring the interactive exhibits and activities designed for visitors ages 5 to 12. Build, design and create as you inspire interest and pique curiosity in the way things work. The Works' exhibits and hands-on workshops create memorable and fun learning experiences for kids of all ages! In addition to having access to all The Works has to offer, at this event you will compete in a pasta bridge building contest. You will be given a handful of spaghetti, a handful of rigatoni, two pieces of lasagna and 4 sticks of hot glue. Your mission is to build a structure across a 1 foot 'canyon' to carry as much weight as possible! This is a family friendly event that is fun for kids and challenging even for adults. A simple lunch of pizza and sandwiches (and MN-style Toscaninis ice cream!) will be provided afterwards.

Cost
