This group gives a small, informal, recurring group of entrepreneurs and independent consultants and business people a forum for sharing business leads and providing complimentary services to shared clients/customers.
Event Details
The group will meet monthly or so, explain their backgrounds, skills and business interests with the group, and share areas where either they can use help in assisting a client with an area outside of their field, where they could use additional resources to address a client need, or where they feel they can assist another member of the group with a need that has been shared.
This will work best where the attendants are "regulars". Over time a feeling of trust is developed, and as members become familiar with each other's areas of strength, they become attuned to them as they go through the month.
Similar groups at other schools have had success fostering a spirit of community among independant professionals, and generating opportunities the share leads and business among group members that has resulted in revenue opportunities for all.
