Ludger Hentschel, Ph.D. (Panelist)
Managing Director, Research, MSCI
At MSCI, Ludger and his team conduct research into alternative investment strategies, asset allocation, and liquidity in order to help MSCI's clients improve their investment results. Prior to joining MSCI, Ludger worked for alternative and traditional investment firms and was a professor of Finance. Ludger earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Yale.
Phil Taylor (Panelist)
Managing Director of Global Arbitrage and Trading, RBC Capital Markets
Phil Taylor currently manages a $1.5bn portfolio as Managing Director of Global Arbitrage and Trading at RBC Capital Markets, and has a successful seventeen year track-record in portfolio management. Phil holds a Masters degree in Mathematics and Management Studies from the University of Cambridge.
Jae Yoon (Panelist)
Senior Managing Director, New York Life Investments
Mr. Yoon is a Senior Managing Director at New York Life Investments, overseeing the portfolio management of MainStay asset allocation strategies, including both retail and VP risk-based funds and target date funds. In addition, he is responsible for the Investment Consulting Group of New York Life Investments. Mr. Yoon earned a BS in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Operations Research at Cornell University.
Aron Cooper (Panelist)
Senior Portfolio Manager, Marshall Wace North America
Aron Cooper joined Marshall Wace North America in early 2008, and is portfolio manager of the MW Americas TOPS Fund. Aron graduated with a Master's in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also holds two Bachelor's degrees from the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Minnesota: Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics Summa Cum Laude with Distinction and Astrophysics with Distinction. Aron is also a CFA charterholder.

Ashish Kishore is Head of Credit for Manikay Partners. Kishore received an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business in 1996. Mr. Kishore received a BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Moore School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1991.

Gilbert Ong is a Vice President in the hedge fund consulting group at MSCI, currently covering Hedge Funds and Fund of Funds in the East Coast and Midwest for Risk Management Analytics. Gilbert possesses a MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a MA in Statistics from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Accounting (Honors) from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
