Chicago Booth Business Forecasts have been celebrated for offering predictions to hundreds of alumni from renowned Chicago experts. However, tonight we'll have a distinguished forecast speaker all to ourselves. Alumni are invited to join Booth forecaster Mark Kiesel, '96, in an informal setting for brief remarks about investment and portfolio management, followed by group discussions over drinks.

Mark Kiesel (Speaker) '96

A 17-year investment veteran, Kiesel is a managing director in the Newport Beach office, a generalist portfolio manager, global head of the corporate bond portfolio management group, and a senior member of the investment strategy and portfolio management group. In his role as global head of corporate bond portfolio management, he oversees the firm's investment grade credit, high yield, and bank loan business. He also manages corporate and equity portfolios for the firm.
Kiesel joined PIMCO in 1996 and previously served as PIMCO's head of equity derivatives and as a senior credit analyst. He has an MBA from Chicago Booth and a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan.
