The Group provides a platform for Booth alumni and business professionals in the Washington DC area to discuss and learn about developments that are impacting the business landscape involving China and US. Future speakers will likely include Ted Dean, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Beijing (and a Booth graduate), representatives from the China Embassy, and Chinese business and government staff visiting the US.

China Business Group meeting will be on Thursday March. 22th, 2012. The speaker will be Issac Stone Fish. He is an associate editor at Foreign Policy Magazine in Washington, DC. Previously a Beijing-based correspondent for Newsweek and The Daily Beast. He is going to talk about reporting in China.

Previously a Beijing-based correspondent for Newsweek and The Daily Beast, he has written
on subjects ranging from China's love affair with rogue states, Xinhua New Agency's global
expansion plan, and the Dalai Lama's effect on international trade. His articles have also
appeared in The Economist, Los Angeles Times, and the International Herald Tribune.
