Peter Ng (Panelist) '03
Director, Standard Chartered Bank

Mr. Ng graduated with an MBA from Chicago Booth in 2003. He attended York University in Toronto for his undergraduate education. Mr. Ng has worked in Institutional Sales in FX & Rates for over 16 Years with Standard Chartered Bank. He worked in Hong Kong and Singapore for over 10 years and has been in NYC the last 7. He specializes in exotic Emerging Market currency trading.

Larry Seruma (Panelist) '96
CIO and Managing Principal, Nile Capital Management

Mr. Seruma is the CIO of Nile Capital Management, which he founding in 2004. The firm manages long only and long/short investments for both institutions and retail investors. He has more than 19 years of experience in portfolio management, equity and derivatives trading, investment research and quantitative investment strategies. Prior to Nile, he served as an MD at Proxima Alfa Investments. Also, he was a Principal at Barclays, where he worked in the Active Strategies Group and was also a member of BGI’s Investment Process Committee. Mr. Seruma serves on the Board for All for Africa, a non-profit organization that focuses on providing sustainable funding to charities and community based programs in Africa. He holds an MBA from Chicago Booth.

Rahul Sharma (Panelist)
Portfolio Manager, Schafer Cullen

Mr. Sharma started his investment career at Schafer Cullen and has 9 years of investment experience. As a portfolio manager, Rahul focuses on global, international and emerging market investment strategies across all market capitalizations. In 1994, he received his B.A. in mathematics from the College of William and Mary.

Bruno Cipriani (Panelist) '08
Vice President, Deutsche Bank

Mr Cipriani graduated from Chicago Booth in 2008 with an MBA concentration in Accounting and Entrepreunership. He joined DB in the summer of 2008 and is currently a Vice President responsible for market-making the flow credit book for Latin American corporates. Prior to Chicago Booth he worked in London for 4 years more recently at Credit Suisse were he was an Associate in the Equity Capital Markets group working on equity-linked and structured equity transactions across Southern Europe and EEMEA.

George Bumeder (Panelist) '96
Managing Director, XL Capital Investment Partners Inc.

George Bumeder, Managing Director, XL Capital Investment Partners Inc. Mr Bumeder works on strategic partnership transactions at XL with boutique asset management firms, in addition to sourcing and investing in global hedge funds and private equity funds. Prior to joining XL, he worked for an equity capital markets information startup, where he led the development of products targeting major institutional investors. Also, he had spent several years as a management consultant in the financial services practice of Booz Allen & Hamilton. Prior to this, he performed investment and risk analysis at JP Morgan Investment Management. He received a BSE in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Justin D. Sheperd is a Partner and Portfolio Manager of Aurora Investment Management L.L.C.. Aurora Investment Management L.L.C. manages over $11 billion in funds of hedge funds designed to meet various investment mandates including multi-strategy formats. Prior to joining Aurora in 1996, Justin worked in the Database Services Department of Information Resources Inc., a firm that conducts research for the consumer packaged goods industry. Justin received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in Finance and Accountancy from Miami University in 1994 and a Masters of Business Administration from The University of Chicago in 2003.
