During 2010, significant federal tax legislation was passed that affects business owners both at the enterprise level and at the personal level. Most prominently, the 2010 Tax Relief Act signed into law in December will have an important effect on the economy and on businesses in the coming years. Further, the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010 and the health care legislation passed in 2010 have important implications for business owners as well.
