The USA was once world renowned for being the undisputed leader in innovation. Now, in fashion, cars, electronics, architecture, TV shows, international trade, teamwork, and business management, the USA is lagging. Asia, Africa, and the Middle East have seized the lead and in job creation. Why? Babs Ryan says this development is good news for some Americans. Can the U.S. regain its leadership position, and, if so, how can Booth alumni and students be part of it? Ryan will show how we can change the world and boost our careers by building the “global citizen” resume. Drawing upon her experience as a global trends forecaster and international product developer, Babs Ryan’s book, “America’s Corporate Brain Drain,” forecast the collapse of U.S. big banks and businesses. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing. For more information, visit www.braindrain.biz.
