Innovation is usually considered a flash of genius, a gift received by a few. Praveen Gupta, however, believes that companies can manage the innovation process as they manage other business functions such as sales, marketing, finance, engineering, and operations. By doing so, companies can integrate innovation into all sectors of their business and make innovation more predictable and profitable. As Dean Jain of Kellogg School of Management says, Mr. Gupta has found a way “to make innovation happen.”

Gupta has developed a simple but powerful framework for breakthrough innovation (Brinnovation™) through which he answers various unknowns about the innovation process.
