The Polsky Center is thrilled to feature Michael Polsky, '87, Founder, President and CEO of Invenergy LLC. With more than three decades of entrepreneurial experience in the energy industry, Michael Polsky is widely recognized as a pioneer and leader in the independent power and renewable energy industries. He founded his first energy company in 1985 while pursuing his evening MBA at the University of Chicago. Today he leads Invenergy, which provides large-scale power generation and storage solutions around the world and is the world's largest independent, privately-held renewables company.

In 2002, Mr. Polsky endowed a center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Chicago, which is named after him. Mr. Polsky is also a member of the University of Chicago's Board of Trustees. We are extremely grateful for his generous support of the University, and we hope you will join us in Invenergy's downtown office to learn about Michael Polsky's entrepreneurial journey.
