The JP Morgan Healthcare Investor Conference (JPM) typically attracts more than 20,000 prominent health care players and investors worldwide to San Francisco annually for a by-invitation only health care investment symposium.

The University of Chicago Life Science Affinity Group (LSAG) will be hosting a fireside chat with Dr. James Madara, CEO of American Medical Association, on January 13 to highlight digital health, health innovations inside and outside of 2016 JPM.

The fireside chat will be held at the University Club San Francisco, a few blocks from Union Square.

We will have cocktails from 6 - 7 p.m. and fireside chat from 7 – 8:30 p.m.

Dr. James Madara was the former CEO of the University of Chicago Medical Center, Dean of the Division of the Biological Sciences and the Pritzker School of Medicine, and Executive Vice President of Medical Affairs, University of Chicago before he joined the AMA. We are going to have an in-depth conversation with Dr. James Madara about his University of Chicago experience, important AMA programs and AMA's digital health strategy in particular.

Dr. Madara will launch an innovation lab in San Francisco during the JPM week.
