Founder of NASDAQ-listed Lante Corp. and Answers Corp. and facilitator of many firms since 1984, Mark recently succeeded J.B. Pritzker to chair ChicagoNext for World Business Chicago. In his business life, he has major roles with 1871, Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center, Lake Capital and Merrick Ventures. His civic involvements include the Field Museum (trustee), Economic Club of Chicago and Aspen Institute. His views as a recognized industry expert on emerging technologies have been in Business Week, Fortune, and The Wall Street Journal. Mark graduated from the University Of Illinois Urbana Champaign with his BS in Computer Science.
