A panel of eminent members of the Department of Economics faculty—each a part of the University of Chicago economic history themselves—will share experiences, memories, influences, and insider views of the unique approach and environment that gave rise to Chicago economics and its world-changing ideas.

This panel discussion is part of the Legacy of the First Chicago School of Economics, an academic conference about the first generation of Chicago economists. A reception for the general audience will follow. It is free and open to the public.
