The Business of Divorce: Minimize Your Economic Impact When 'Happily Ever After' Ends

Where

Online Webinar
Chicago, Illinois

Event Details

Divorce is painful, ugly, and expensive! It is also extremely disruptive in the business world, costing North American employers an estimated $6 billion each year in lost productivity, absenteeism, higher health insurance premiums and stress-related healthcare costs.

Join divorce attorney and advisor Karen Covy as she explains the divorce options available to people today. Choosing the right option can dramatically affect the time, money and stress involved in divorce. Karen will also discuss the recent changes to the Illinois Maintenance (Alimony) Statute, and how they affect the amount of spousal support that Illinois residents can now expect to pay or receive when they divorce.

None of us plan to divorce when we get married, yet almost 50% of marriages end this way. That's why it's important to protect ourselves with knowledge. Forewarned is forearmed!
