Most would-be entrepreneurs are stymied by the concept of coming up with the "Big Idea."  As a result, many women entrepreneurs begin to think of starting a one-woman small business and ignore the enormous work of businesses for sale.

This webinar will tackle the issues of both finding and recognizing business opportunitites with some real life examples and a few rules of the road from a fellow Booth alumna who has purchased, tweaked and later sold several companies in varying industries.  We'll allow time for questions and discussion in an "Ask the Expert" section of the program.

Our webinar is led by Caryl Pedersen, '76, a current Professor of Finance teaching Entrepreneurial Finance in an MBA program.  Caryl has also been a UCWBG Director and VP of Programs, and has bought and sold several businesses herself.

By popular demand, this presentation ran as a live meeting, as part of the UCWBG's "Accidental Entrepreneur" series.  This is the first time we've made this information available to a large audience in webinar format.  If you've ever considered going into business, you won't want to miss this program!
