The Polsky Center Accelerator Program gives student teams the opportunity to work on their businesses and social enterprises in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
The 10 teams accepted to the program receive funding, office space, access to Polsky Center staff, coaching from faculty, mentorship from alumni entrepreneurs and Chicago-area investors, and weekly programming designed to help them overcome many of the hurdles to launching a business.
The program culminates in a Demo Day, where the teams will present their businesses and showcase their progress over the last ten weeks. The Demo Day typically draws over 100 attendees, including Chicago-area investors and entrepreneurs, media from various local outlets, and UChicago students, faculty, and staff.
