Join us and fellow alumni in São Paulo for our annual all UChicago Alumni Dinner on August 4. We will be combining the Alumni Dinner with Chicago Booth's São Paulo Fusion event, designed to connect current student interns with local alumni.
We will be joined by Stacey Kole, Deputy Dean for Alumni,Corporate Relations, and the Full-time MBA program and Julie Morton, Associate Dean for Career Services and Corporate Relations at Chicago Booth.
This is a great opportunity to see your former classmates and to get to know alumni in the area in a casual atmosphere. Our special guest speakers below will present based around the theme of "Brazilian Social Entrepreneurship with a Chicago flavor":
Thomaz Srougi, MBA and MPP '04, of Dr. Consulta, which delivers quality health care at modest prices as an alternative to often untimely free public health care.
Cassius Leal, MBA '00, of "Primeira Chance" a program which provides scholarships and mentoring to highly talented youth from families of severely limited economic resources.
Additional Booth alumni who are interested in participating at future events, and are active members in an organization or governance of an organization related to the theme are also invited to share information about their organization and its activities. Please send us a short description of the organization and your role via e-mail.
Please note that this year, Chicago Booth will be underwriting a portion of the ticket cost for all alumni. Space is limited, so be sure to register soon. Payment is due by Sunday, August 3.
