Event Details

The US equity markets have enjoyed five calendar years of positive returns. Top of the mind of most investors is whether the markets can continue advancing after such a long run. Nearly two years after its launch, the Nordea 1 – North American All Cap Fund which is sub-managed by Eagle Asset Management, Inc. has surpassed USD 2 billion of assets under management.

The Nordea 1 – North American All Cap Fund is managed according to the similar investment philosophy and investment process as the Eagle U.S. All Cap Equity Composite (with some specific limits and restrictions). The Eagle U.S. All Cap Equity Composite has a track record of 15 years, which almost doubled the performance of the S&P 500 and Russell 3000 since 1999.

The consistent outperformance of both the Russell 3000 and S&P500 Indices was achieved using their Value and Reasonable Growth (VARG) philosophy. The VARG is a unique approach, combining a classic value style with a focus on growth catalysts. The investment beliefs are market's misjudgement resulting in companies that are unpopular or oversold and also looking into growth catalysts of quality companies with a clear path to unlocking intrinsic value.
