Please join us for a Social Impact Leadership Series event featuring Todd Babbitz, '04 in a lecture titled, "Shifting Sands and Reduced Resources: How Rapid Demographic Changes and Budget Pressures Led to 50 School/Program Closures and Continue to Challenge our Ability to Modernize our Schools".

Todd currently is the Executive Director of the Office of Strategy Management of Chicago Public Schools, and formerly served as CPS's Chief Transformation Officer. Todd and his team are responsible for the development and ongoing refinement of CPS's 10-year Educational Facilities Master Plan, for long term capital planning, demographic projections, and managing the school actions process, which includes closures, consolidations, phase-outs and co-locations of schools. Todd has fifteen years of professional experience as a senior business executive, a management consultant, and a partner in a multinational law firm. Prior to joining CPS he was the Chief Marketing Officer, Benefits Outsourcing for Hewitt Associates, where he led markets and strategy for a $1.5 billion business unit. Prior to Hewitt, Todd was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he helped Fortune 500 organizations tackle their toughest problems, including leading them through transformative change and managing portfolios of strategic initiatives. Todd has an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business, where he was the Robert S. Hamada Distinguished Fellow. He has a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School, and a B.A., with distinction, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
