Susan Hapak (Panelist) '89
President and Owner, Current Technologies

Susan Hapak has been President and Owner of Current Technologies since 1994. She oversees operations, marketing, distributor relations and just about everything. Susan is a graduate of Duke University and earned an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. She served as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship in the University of Chicago MBA program where she taught part-time from 1999 – 2009. Susan is a major fan of Duke Basketball /Coach K and the Indianapolis Colts.

Clay Barnes (Panelist)
President and CEO, MPI Corporation

Clay Barnes is President and CEO of MPI Corporation, a holding company based in Indianapolis, Indiana of three operating companies in metals related industries: Small Parts, Inc., ABC Metals, Inc. and HTI. Clay joined MPI Corp in 1988 as a member of the board of directors and started as a full time employee in 1995. Prior to joining MPI Corp, Clay was President & CEO of Blocksom & Co., based in Michigan City, Indiana, after spending the early part of his career working for Fortune 500 companies, Baxter Healthcare Corporation and FMC Corporation, both in the Chicago area.

Clay is a graduate of Northwestern University where he earned three degrees: a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters of Engineering Management both from the McCormick School of Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Clay is past Chairman and a current board member of Indiana Manufacturers Association, is a member of the board of directors of The Alliance, serves on the advisory board of Northwestern University's Mechanical Engineering Department, volunteers at Indiana Sports Corp in Youth Programs and Finance, is active in a variety of ministries at Zionsville Presbyterian Church including as an Elder and coaches pole-vaulters at Carmel High School.

Greg Genrich (Speaker)
Co-Founder and CEO, Barlap Compliance Corporation

Greg is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Barlap Compliance Corporation. Barlap was founded in 2002 and offers web-based solutions which allow large multi-location restaurant and hospitality firms to track contracts, leases and manage their license renewal process. Greg also owns Bradford & Riley, Inc., a consulting firm which assists its Indiana clients in securing and maintaining their alcoholic beverage permits. Prior to acquiring Bradford & Riley in the fall of 2000, Greg spent fifteen years working in Commercial Lending and Corporate Finance. Greg holds a BS in Business Administration from Butler University and a MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
