We will be joined by Jean-Marc Janaillac, Chairman & CEO of Air France-KLM, Chairman of Air France who will discuss the topic "The challenges of the airline industry, between globalization and innovation".
Historically,the airline industry gave rise to several business revolutions: yield management, low-cost services, on-line booking and so on. It is facing renewed challenges today, caught between fierce global competition, new business models, technological revolutions, security and environmental issues.
Caught in the winds of these challenges, AirFrance-KLM is one of the majorin cumbents that is under huge business and financial pressure, especially facing deep competition from low-cost carriers and middle-eastern carriers.
One year after being named by the Board Chairman and CEO of AirFrance-KLM, with the mission to lead its recovery, Jean-Marc Janaillac will discuss with us «off-record» how he is driving the change a tAirFrance–KLM and the main challenges facing the airline industry.
