Event Details

The Whitney Museum of American Art's collection contains some of the most significant and exciting work created by artists in the United States during the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.

Join us for a private group tour hosted by a Teaching Fellow, PhD candidate in art history. We will be visiting Human Interest: Portraits from the Whitney's Collection, which offers new perspectives on one of art's oldest genres. Drawn entirely from the Museum's holdings, the more than two hundred works in the exhibition show changing approaches to portraiture from the early 1900s until today.

Please visit the Whitney Museum of American Art website for additional information. Space is limited and early registration is highly encouraged.

Friends and family guests are permitted.
