Event Details

This is the first of a series of panel-based events for alumni, current students, applicants or prospective students which will highlight Chicago Booth alumni speakers from a variety of industries in Toronto.

Daniel Berholz '04, of the Rose Corporation, will provide an overview of the Toronto real estate market and outlook.  Dan will discuss his experience with projects such as the Tannery District's (Kitchener) industrial conversion to office space, and 212 Davis Drive (Newmarket), the first purpose-built private market rental apartment developed in York Region in past 30 years.

This speaking engagement will offer some time for Q&A and networking with fellow Booth alumni, current and prospective students, and also includes a visit from the Toronto club's Booth Alumni Relations liaison.

Dan has over 18 years of experience in the real estate industry. He joined Rose in 2010 and was previously the Vice President of Development at Cadan Inc., one of Rose's strategic development partners. Prior to Cadan Inc., he was a Real Estate Manager working throughout Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia for Rogers Wireless Division and subsequently served as General Manager of the New York real estate organizations of two US telecom firms. Dan also acted as Planning Consultant for Bechtel in New Jersey. Dan holds a BA in Urban Development from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business.
