Peter C. Browning MBA '76 (Panelist)
Lead Director, Nucor Steel

Peter is the Lead Director of Nucor Steel; previous to his current role, he was non-executive Chairman of Nucor. He is the former dean of McColl Graduate School of Business at Queens University of Charlotte. Peter is the former president and chief executive officer of Sonoco Products Company. He is a director for Lowe's Companies, The Phoenix Companies, Acuity Brands, and EnPro Industries. Peter earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University, and Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business where he is a lifetime member of the Chicago Booth Council.

C. Russell Bryan (Panelist)
Managing Director, Brookwood Associates

Managing Director, Brookwood Associates. Prior to joining Brookwood Associates in 1999, Russell was an investment banker for 11 years at Banc of America Securities ("BAS") and its predecessors in Charlotte and New York. As a Director in BAS' Healthcare group, he focused on mergers, acquisitions and equity financings for a broad range of healthcare services and specialty medical distribution companies. Prior to joining BAS, Russell worked in the capital markets and investment banking groups of Lehman Brothers and Prudential Securities in New York. Russell earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from The Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia. Russell serves as a board member of The Oak Value Fund, a mutual fund based in Durham, NC and is a trustee of The Mary Duke Biddle Foundation.

Rich C. Perkey (Panelist)
Managing Director, Russell Reynolds Associates

Managing Director, Russell Reynolds Associates. Rich conducts board of directors, CEO, president and executive leadership assignments nationally, across a number of industries, with a concentration in financial services, financial technology, information services and retailing. Rich has seventeen years of executive recruiting experience. Earlier, Rich spent eleven years with First Union Corporation, first as Vice President of Human Resources, then as Vice President of Consumer Banking, in the bank’s Florida operations. Rich received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Davidson College where he serves on the Board of Visitors.
