In today's tough economic climate, it is vital that marketers find ways to not only push their marketing agenda forward, but the growth agenda too. Too often, marketers are dismissed from the dialog and not viewed as the true asset that they are within their organization. The Shift is meant to highlight the five shifts that we believe marketers can start to make immediately to help raise their profile, better engage with the executive team and ultimately help lead the dialog on the overall growth strategy for their organization. Scott Davis is the author of Brand Asset Management: Driving Profitable Growth Through Your Brands (2000) and Building the Brand-driven Business: Operationalize Your Brand to Drive Profitable Growth. He will be discussing his upcoming book, The Shift: The Transformation of Today's Marketer into Tomorrow's Growth Leader. This event is being sponsored by the Kilts Center for Marketing and the Marketing Roundtable.
