Free bicycle ride around the lakes in Minneapolis and socializing at an outdoor restaurant with a small group of TCAN members
Event Details
The 6th annual Tour de TCAN will start by meeting at 6:00 pm at the Tin Fish on Lake Calhoun. The Twin Cities Alumni Network (TCAN) is a group of 25 schools (including U of C and Booth) that holds joint events in Minneapolis/St. Paul to ensure reaching a critical mass of attendees. The Tour is a group of bicyclists who take a leisurely ride around the lakes and then socialize over beverages. It's free and RSVP is encouraged but not required. We will pedal around the Minneapolis bike trail system for about 1.25 hours (from 6:15 pm to 7:30 pm) followed by food, drinks and socializing at Tin Fish on Lake Calhoun (from 7:30 to 9:00 pm). All biking skill levels are welcome, and with bike rentals available at nearby Nice Ride MN stations you don't even need your own bike to participate. And for those who would like to meet us just for the socializing at Tin Fish that's cool too.
