Jorma Ollila (Speaker)
Chairman, Royal Dutch Shell

As a Finnish national, Jorma Ollila was appointed Chairman of Royal Dutch Shell in June 2006. In 1985, he was made Vice-President of International Operations of Nokia; in 1986 Vice-President Finance of Nokia; between 1990 and 1992 he served as President of Nokia Mobile Phones; from 1992 to 1999 he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Nokia; and from 1999 to June 2006 he was Chief Executive Officer of Nokia. Prior to joining Nokia, he began his career in banking at Citibank in London and Helsinki. Currently he is Chairman of the Board of Nokia and a Non-executive Director of Ford Motor Company. Jorma was born August 15, 1950.
