Pakistan in a Globalizing World, by Prof. Adil Najam (Tufts University)

The presentation was attended by, among others, Prof. Marvin Zonis, who commented afterwards: "The presentation presented precisely the kind of information that GSB students need, given how little realistic information on Pakistan is generally available. The talk made clear that while Pakistan has considerable liabilities—an arms race with India, an inadequate education system, and a 'democracy deficit,' it also has the potential for being at an inflection point. Massive changes are occurring in South Asia, and Pakistan will be part of those changes and those changes will be for the better".
