The Luxembourg alumni first came together in 2002.
The Chicago Booth Alumni Club of Luxembourg is one of the rather small alumni communities.
Most of us hold an MBA degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Amongst our members are graduates from the campus, evening and executive programs in Chicago and from the executive program in Barcelona that was transferred to London in 2005.
Some other alumni have also been one year or more to University of Chicago during their undergraduate studies.
Due to the small size of the market and the restricted number of alumni, the frequency of our meetings is rather low. We usually organize our activities jointly with alumni of other American or European top-10 business schools, to whom we maintain close ties.
Our mission is to promote professional and social networking of Chicago Booth and other University of Chicago alumni and students among themselves, with alumni of other top business schools and with the business, political, social and academic communities of our country.
We further promote the awareness and enhance the image of Chicago Booth and the University of Chicago as a producer of ideas and leaders that shape the world of business.
We offer support to Chicago alumni and prospective students for training and professional career development issues.
