Marketing and Communications
Create, build, and manage the CBAA brand. Help develop marketing and communication efforts for CBAA programs and events. Coordinate media contacts, external publicity, and communications for all CBAA committees. Chairperson: Amber Salley, '08.
Membership
Organize and conduct the membership drive to attract new members and assist other committees in developing programs to retain existing members. Serve as a primary contact for new members and develop and administer membership management tools. Chairperson: Peter Washington, '09
Student Affairs
Plan events and programs which foster interactions between current students and Black alumni. Coordinate programs to assist in recruiting talented Black students to Chicago Booth in partnership with Chicago Booth Admissions and Diversity Affairs. Facilitate the partnership between the African-American MBA Association and CBAA in the planning of the annual DuSable Conference and Economic Forecast Luncheon. Student Affairs: Jacob Qualls, '08,
Recruiting
Liaise with the African-American MBA Association. Coordinate alumni-student mentoring program and other forums for student interactions with Chicago Booth Black alumni. Coordinate programs to assist in recruiting talented Black students to Chicago Booth in partnership with Chicago Booth Admissions and Diversity Affairs. Coordinate with alumni representatives to serve on the annual DuSable Conference planning committee. Chairperson: Vacant
Fundraising
Set policies, priorities, and goals for fundraising programs with a vision toward building a self-sustainable organization. Collaborate with other members of the CBAA leadership team to design and execute fundraising initiatives. Chairperson: Vacant
Regional Directors At-Large
Coordinate and mobilize alumni in the designated geographic areas. Serve as a representative voice for the area alumni on the board.
